People ask all the time "What is homeschooling?" Homeschooling is very hard to explain, but upon reflection we decided that it's true that a picture is worth a thousand words. So, homeschooling is....

Learning about fire trucks!

Fire safety, fire tour, and listening to those sirens!

Using the hose like the firemen do!

concentrating!

learning about tigers!

visiting the Zoo!

learning to play bass!

meeting new people!

brothers making penguins!

dyeing colored eggs!

playing hockey!

making cookies with Daddy!

learning to swim!

dancing!

turning somersaults!

climbing trees!

learning to ride your bike!

visiting the fire station!

feeding a live tiger during a field trip!

hanging out with your friends!

learning about horses from
a fellow homeschooler!

learning about armor!

learning about card weaving!

learning about the harp and drum!

bowling with your homeschool group!

These pictures give a glimpse into the life of homeschooling families, but even this still doesn't explain all that there is to homeschooling!

Some of the above pictures were also seen in the September 2003 issue of Tulsa Kids magazine!
